Now in its seventh year, the BIF Summit has earned it reputation as "one of the top 7 places to watch great minds in action" (according to Mashable). The summit provides participants with the space to be curious and crazy, get inspired, and collide with unusual collaborators. A shoe designer learns innovation processes from a car designer. A police officer teaches a business guru about transforming industries.
Last year, 350 participants came from over 150 different companies; 80 percent were CEOs, presidents, founders, or senior leaders within their organizations. 20 percent will be.

Since the first BIF Summit, we've heard stories from more than 150 innovators from across every sector and discipline. Hard to believe that we are gearing up for our seventh Summit. Even more amazing is that 1697 people have been in the audience for at least one of these gatherings. It was hard to do, but after lots of discussion and debate, we've picked 16 stories that the BIF team find especially memorable, moving, or simply stunning. We've put them together in this collection as a way to look back.
